Happy Networks was founded to deliver reliable connectivity to people attending music festivals and events throughout Australia. Having attended many music festivals over the last 20 years, our founders saw a need to allow patrons to connect to the internet in order to communicate with eachother, organise a ride home, check in with loved ones and in case of emergency.
Whilst many people seek to disconnect from the “world” during these events, many find themselves lost and frustrated without being able to communicate. We strongly encourage to use WiFi connectivity at festivals only to communicate where needed and to disconnect all other times.
How Does It Work?
We use a mixture of technologies to deliver a connectection from a nearby town and distribute it on site.
Happy Networks seek partnersips with businesses in nearby towns to use their premises and internet to wirelessely trasmit the connect to festival site. We use modern wireless technologies that allow us to deliver up to 2gb/s connection to site. We bundle multiple NBN, Satelite and 5G connections into VPN tunnels to a datacentre to ensure a reliable service.
Once a connection is delivered to a festival site, we use specialised high density WiFi access points to distribute the connection on site, using fibre and copper cabling.
Users connect to a WiFi connection on their device and are presented with a page where they can enter a voucher code or credit card details to obtain access.
